Professionally, I have used Microsoft Access while working at a mid-size software company. This was the database software I used locally and performed queries using SQL (Structured Query Language). These queries were performed either manually or through source code. In addition, I have used MS Access personally for a non-profit organization for data mining to send out emails to specific groups of people.

I worked with Michael over two days on a programming project I was having trouble with. He was always on time, extremely generous with his time, and was dedicated in making sure that I understood all aspects of the project and C++ concepts we were covering. I do not have a good handle on C++, and the project was far outside of my comfort level. What I appreciated most is that Michael broke down the problem in a way that allowed me to understand exactly what the project required, and how to approach each of these requirements in order to complete them successfully.
