I have been a high school mathematics teacher for the past 2 years, as well as a middle/high school math tutor for over 5 years. I have a master's degree in mathematics with an emphasis in teaching (4.0 GPA), and a bachelor's in pure mathematics (3.7 GPA) from the University of Utah. I am passionate about helping students understand, and even enjoy, the world of mathematics. I am very patient, and it is always my goal to help students learn to think logically and problem solve, rather than just giving them the answer. With 5+ years of tutoring and teaching experience, I have learned how to explain concepts in multiple ways, and how to identify and address students' weak areas, giving them the foundation they need to be successful in mathematics.
