I have a BA and MA in Japanese, and my background includes linguistics and language pedagogy. I have experience teaching language to students of all ages, from kindergarteners to retirees, and I have taught Japanese at the college level. I have passed the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (near-native), and in my main profession I communicate in Japanese on a daily basis.
