Absolutely fantastic. He reviewed my daughter's previous test that I gave to him, and outlined her areas of weakness. He is very patient and thorough. We struggled with finding the right tutor for our son. Other tutors seemed to have trouble meeting his athletic schedule. However, Norbert has had no complications with meeting with our son. He is very flexible in meeting times and where to meet. He also makes sure my son leaves understanding the material; if that means if my son needed an extra 15-20 min, he would give him the time and explain whatever he needed to. He is very thorough with explanations and uses many visual aids. This was great considering my son is a visual learner. We appreciate all his hard work and dedication to our son. He has improved his confidence in math once again thanks to Norbert pushing and guiding him.

Norb does a great job with my son. Preparation wise he's the best- he reserves the room, obtains the library copy of the textbook, and prepares ahead of time based on the papers I scan and send or which he finds online from the school. Teaching wise he honed in on my son's habits right away and patiently mentors him and according to my son explains things very thoroughly. He even taught a class in how he applies math in his work (Structural Engineering) with real world examples and stories. I think this sort of example carries a lot more weight coming from someone outside the family who has lived the subject. We definitely recommend Norb!

Norbert came prepared. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and knows how to teach the material in a way that our son could understand. He is personable and truly exceeded our expectations of what could be accomplished.
