I was born and raised in Japan. 100% Japanese! :-) When I was a college student in Japan, while studying K-12 education, I tutored many students to teach English. I moved to the US, and while studying in a master's program for teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL), I tutored Americans and taught Japanese.
