I have over 20 years of experience tutoring in math and science. I have a strong math and science foundation. I received my PhD in Molecular Genetics in 2006 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and I currently work at the University of Chicago as a research scientist. Both my daughter and I instantly liked Carrie's demeanor and approach. My daughter had very specific expectations of her tutor. Weaker in the math and science portions of the ACT, Carrie immediately devoted the first hour to math and the second to science. But rather than spending the entire hour of each subject just practicing test problems, each hour started off with a few practice problems.
