Kelliann
Special Education Qualified Tutor!
Hi! My name is Kelliann, and I have been a special education teacher for the last 20 years. I’ve supplemented my teaching with tutoring, serving as the PTA co-president at my children’s school, and working toward my doctorate in educational psychology. I have my BA in elementary education, my MeD in special education, my CAS (Certificate of Advanced Study-a few classes short of a master’s degree) in administration and supervision, and all my classes toward my EdD in educational psychology....

Kelliann is a fantastic tutor. She was very flexible and diligent in returning all of my messages but that is not the best part! My 2nd grader son has difficulties reading along with issues with focus and attentiveness. Not only did Kelliann use some great tools and techniques to engage my son and help him focus on the task, but she actually got my son to have fun reading! She was patient yet firm and my son completely responded to her. He has already been motivated to practice reading so that he can show Kelliann at their next session!

Kelliann has kept our child engaged in solidifying her knowledge of math facts and reviewing math skills using a variety of tasks. This isn't easy in an area that is difficult for the child. N has enjoyed her sessions.
