My son had made one or two attempts at obtaining his GED. Neither attempt lasted long. Eventually he wanted to try again and he said he might need a tutor. He seemed very serious and ready to go all the way through with it this time... with the help of a tutor. I found WyzAnt on the internet and was given the name of Sandra D. We booked the first sessions as two consecutive sessions. This gave Sandra D. time to evaluate our son. After those sessions she seemed to have "nailed" the best technique to use to effectively teach our son. He and Sandra D. stuck with a plan that she formulated and my son now his GED. It took longer than we had thought it would but he remained motivated throughout. It was worth it! Sandra D. was instrumental in keeping him motivated. He not only passed the GED tests, but was above average in all test categories. Ms. Sandra D.’s approach seemed to be a winning approach. Also, she was the first and only tutor we used.

Sandy is extremely reliable and punctual. She is a teaching professional that works to tailor the lesson to the individual student's needs. She works to get to know the student so that she can apply the most effective approach to learning.

My son and Sandra have been working together for several months. Sandra always speaks to me after a session and lets me know about my son's progress. He is making great strides with Sandra in the area's of reading, writing and math. My son is in a resourse classroom for all three subjects in school and Sandra has kept his progress going throughout the summer. She is very patient and makes sessions fun for my son. Sandra is a real "keeper" as a tutor and she will be helping my during the school year. I can't wait to see all the progress he will make with her help.

Sandra has been working with my son for a few months now. She is extremely patient with him as he is a slow learner. He has come a long way, it is all thanks to Sandra. When I was still looking for a tutor for him, she always responded to my emails promptly/timely manner. Thank you Sandra we appreciate having!
