I feel so lucky that I have found a career that connects my love of science and information with my interest in people. I was not always a teacher, I originally worked in laboratory settings in a corporate environment doing "science". After seeking a more family friendly career, I did not have to look far to know that teaching sparked many of my passions including kids, science, information, skill development in a meaningful community such as a high school classroom.
