I have a Ph.D in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and 30 years of experience in the fields of organic, medicinal, and pharmaceutical chemistry (drug discovery and development). Jasbir is an extremely patient tutor. He specifies to each individual student with worksheets and packets and summary sheets. Overall, my grade saw an immediate improvement. Before I began tutoring with Jasbir, I was having trouble grasping the bigger concept that would help me be able to look at the smaller parts of Organic Chemistry effectively. After one tutoring session I was able to understand why things like inversion occurred and how to correctly draw mechanisms. Since there is only one Organic Chemistry teacher at my school and all science majors have to take it, it is difficult to meet with my professor one on one to ask for a secondary explanation. Jasbir comes prepared to every tutoring session with Power Points, examples, and lots of patience! If he noticed I was not grasping a concept completely he has plenty of understanding of it that he can change his explanation so that I was able to comprehend.
