Math is the foundation for science which is my real passion. I have a talent for explaining difficult or complicated concepts in straightforward and easy to understand ways. I have an elementary school aged child, so I have experience relating to this age group. I believe math should be fun and is best learned if it is applied to things the student can relate to in their everyday experience.

Jason was willing to meet with us, prior to making a tutorial commitment, in order to meet one another and discuss goals and strategies. We found it to be very helpful to have this time to clarify needs and to speak frankly with him about our expectations for our son. We agreed to have weekly meetings to touch base and evaluate progress to assist both parties with communication and feeling we are on the right track. Jason was pleasant, sincere, and seems dedicated to truly helping his students understand and move forward with concepts.

Jason worked hard explaining an electrical circuit and why the Laplace transform worked so well with the sort of de equations that arise in electrical circuits. As I was writing a beginner's book on differential equations and only had a math background and not a science or engineering background, Jason worked hard to teach me the vocabulary that I did not know as well as correct some of the text in the draft of a book that I sent him. I really appreciated that!
