Personable and Helpful Elementary Substitute for Reading, Writing
I am currently student teaching in a 4th grade classroom and will finish at the end of this month (February). I will then be substitute teaching in area schools as I work to complete the exam required to receive my Iowa teaching license. I have my Reading Endorsement and hope to eventually become a Reading Specialist. After I have taught for 3 years I will work to get my master's degree. My only qualifications come from being a mother of a 14 year old son with ADHD, and the students I have encountered with it during student teaching. I have done research to learn about diet, routine, stimulation, sleeping needs, conflict resolution, medications, etc. My experience has been trial and error and the things I have learned through that.
