This review is so long overdue as we have been using Mr. Mac's tutoring services for quite some time and we are so grateful for him. He tutors my son in language arts and physics. In language arts, he has taught my son the required subject matter and has also gone above and beyond, teaching him poetry, literary figures and topics, and anything else that sparks my child's interest and inspires him to learn. In physics, Mr. Mac is generating such excitement on the subject that my son wants to read ahead in his text book. He explains topics with patience and precision. We worked with Mr. Mac all summer in language arts and continue to do so through the school year. I have just received my son's grades for the first quarter and he got a 97% in his language arts class. He also scored in the "advanced" range in his first state testing of this school year. Our sessions are online, which is not an easy feat for many teachers, but Mr. Mac does this so well! He utilizes all the best technology and the WyzAnt online tutoring platform. My child's tutoring sessions are just like "in person" tutoring even though we are miles away. On a personal note, Mr. Mac is a kind and generous person. I'm so happy to have him as an influence in my son's life, academically and personally.
