Originally from Kentucky, I have lived in Guyana, Panama as well as in Uganda and Rwanda in East Africa. Throughout my career as a global health professional, I have served as a Peace Corps volunteer working as a Health Educator where I taught botany and ecology to hospital staff in the creation of community supported agriculture systems.
