Hello. My name is Nibaldo Calvo Buides, originally from Cuba and I have lived in the United States of America since 2011. As a child, I dreamt of making a better life for my family. I worked as a journalist in Cuba with a salary of $30 per month and worked very hard to make my way here to make a better way. Once I arrived in America I studied English day and night, I was determined and dedicated to making a good life here. Now I teach Spanish and Art at St. Andrew Academy and Chess in many schools all around the Louisville, Kentucky, where I live. I have my favorite saying “Anything is possible in America!!!” I show this in the way I live my life. I approach everything with an open heart, an open mind and a positive attitude. I believe that no dream is unattainable. All you have to do is believe. *I am Spanish teacher, Journalist, Chess Master with International Rating and Economist.
