My experience in teaching dates back 30-plus years. After a degree in French (and one year studying in Paris), I briefly taught French at LSU. After obtaining an MBA and a CPA certificate, I began teaching accounting at the University of New Orleans in 1983 -- 30 years this fall! I became a CPA in Louisiana in 1983. I began teaching in the Accounting Department of UNO in the fall of 1983 and taught full-time for 4 1/2 years. Since then, I have continued to teach intermittently at UNO, at Loyola, and for a CPA review program. I currently teach accounting, law and ethics to graduate students in a UNO master's degree program.
