I believe that everyone has the ability to learn Math. Not everyone has the easiest time learning it in a classroom setting, of course, but I can honestly say I never tutored anyone who didn't understand the material after a little one-on-one explanation. She has really helped me to understand math, and despite how worried I was about how well tutoring over Skype would work, it has turned out to be really enjoyable and helpful. Stacy has been working with my daughter for about a month now and has rescued her from a failing grade in Honors Trigonometry. She had gotten behind in her understanding a couple months ago; Stacy has really helped her catch up and get current. Most of their sessions have been over Skype; that has really worked great - super convenient and just as effective as person-to-person.

Stacy jumped right in to help my daughter with her college level math class. 30 minutes into the first Skype session, my daughter was actually getting the formulas and able to begin using them herself. I couldn't believe it. She walked away from that session with more confidence in tackling this math class then I've seen in a long time. Stacy also took the time to contact the college and get a copy of the what the class entailed so she was better prepared to help my daughter.
