I have been an in-person and online private tutor for different schools since 2006, including three years as a junior high school language specialist in public schools and an independent educator and activities director for a private company. I've accumulated more than 400 hours of in-person, one-on-one private tutoring in math, language, test prep, and philosophy. "Great communication! general computer
I am an advanced user of a number of different operating systems, but the real skill of using computers, I believe, is developing an "intuitive sense" of how to use any device through regular use and practice. Developing this sense has helped me cultivate computer skills that greatly helped me through secondary school and college, and following that, in numerous of jobs ranging from administration to website design and marketing. Whether you're looking to learn more from basic to advanced skills, you too can experience greater confidence in our growing technologically literate world.

Microsoft Excel
I have mastered Microsoft Excel through using them since primary school for school projects, and following that, in a variety of jobs, ranging from administration to website design and marketing. I offer lessons in basics like workbook management, formulas and functions, and printing and publishing, as well as intermediate to advanced skills in data grouping, charts, data lists, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.
Microsoft Word
Similar to my Excel experience, I mastered Microsoft Word through first using it for school projects, then later for a variety of different jobs (from administration to website design and marketing). For Word, I offer lessons in basic skills such as document management and formatting, tables, and printing and publishing, as well as more intermediate to advanced skills such as graphics, excel data management, macros, revision tracking, and mail merge.

reading
Being an accelerated reader myself from a young age, I have helped students at many stages of life improve their reading proficiency in a way that incorporates humor, creativity, and a focus on results. My experience includes work as a lead tutor for a work study reading program for local elementary schools (2003-4) and offering online English reading classes to beginner-level to advanced-level students (2009). I aim primarily for comprehension while also testing for more in-depth reading of nuances, tonality, and meter (such as in poetry), and this is especially emphasized in my teaching of speed reading and memory devices.
