ADD/ADHD
I am a certified teacher in LA. I hold a lifetime teaching certificate and have taught child to adults with special needs, including students with ADD/ADHD, Austism, and Aspergers. Often these children are placed into the same classroom to receive help making it through the school year. While earning my B.A.E. I student taught in both the regular education setting as well as a special needs setting. I have found techniques that work with students with these disabilities and know you just have to be patient while finding out what works. While working on my M.Ed. I took multiple courses in psychology and behavior management. These courses have given me a firm foundation from which to build on while planning lessons and strategies that will make any one of these groups of children or adults feel successful.
