I have been a teacher and school counselor in a public school system for over 18 years. I have worked with families and children since graduating from college in 1989 with my Masters degree in Education. In my positions with the schools, I have advocated for my students to receive the extra services they may need to be successful in school, as well as later in life. ADD/ADHD
I have a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in education. I presently am employed as a school counselor in a public school and work daily with children who are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and their families. I conduct social skills and anger management groups on a weekly basis. Last year I began the Orton-Gillingham program and am presently tutoring two elementary students through the Learning Center.
