I enjoy teaching. I have taught 5th grade for the past 12 years, with a year off teaching little ones in first grade. However, I enjoy tutoring because I like to make a connection in a one-on-one setting with students who struggle in particular areas that give them difficulty. I find that by developing a rapport with my students whom I tutor, they begin to build confidence in the areas in which they struggle and start to make progress. This is rewarding for both of us!
