Dave worked with my 11 year old son during his sixth grade year. His laid back personality and use of real world examples took the anxiety out of each math lesson. I worked with Dave for two or three in person sessions then we decided to try online sessions. These worked great. The whiteboard area worked well for posting the assignments and explaining procedures. We used the audio to communicate in-depth explanations of difficult and complex tasks. I never would have passed Discrete Math without Dave's help. Not only did I pass, I earned an A and was able to keep my GPA high. I highly recommend giving online sessions a try. Many great features are all available in the comfort and convenience of your own home. Great tutor. Helps make difficult college level computer programming math easier to understand. I searched for Dave on WyzAnt because one of our international students was attending a boarding school in the area and needed extra help in physics. Dave came highly recommended and so I contacted him about working with our student short notice. Dave was very accommodating and replied to my inquiry in a prompt manner. MAY 2013 I definitely recommend Dave for online tutoring. My teenager received his help in Algebra II and for SAT Prep. Once again Dave was reliable, capable, patient, and helpful.
