I am a special education teacher and a literacy specialist and I have worked with many ADD/ADHD high school students, including my own son. I understand the complexity of giving enough support while helping students to become self sufficient as they approach adulthood. I have had much success teaching students compensatory habits that allow them to work with their ADD/ADHD.
