My experience as a graduate TA has allowed me to obtain a lot of experience teaching general and organic chemistry. Each year I look forward to seeing the students do well in the course and often employ the use of metaphors, examples, and models in order to make chemistry less mysterious and ensure understanding of the material. Rey is very patient and able to break down the Chemistry material in an understandable format. He is always on time and stays until the lesson is complete. I got a tutor for my daughter because she could not score beyond a "C" on any of the Chemistry tests/quizzes. I am proud to say that after only a few lessons, she felt more confident and comfortable with the material and her scores began to increase on the exams. Her most recent score was an 84 (B) on her test. That is the best score all year!!!! I can only thank Rey for his tutoring skills and getting my daughter to understand the material.
