Frederique has worked with me 2-3 times per week for the past 5 months to polish my rusty high school and college French in anticipation for my first trip to Paris. She ALWAYS arrives on time and never cancels. As a native Parisian, her language skills are invaluable in helping me to understand French idioms, customs, manners and style. She even taught me what NOT to say, even though it may sound correct in English. She is not only extremely knowledgeable in the intricacies of grammar, both French and English, but she is well versed in French literature, history, film and culture. Her incorporation of these elements into the lessons made the learning experience far more interesting and enjoyable. Her lessons were always well prepared, relevant and organized. And, as a bonus, she is also extremely personable and cheerful. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Frederique is a very reliable and dedicated tutor. She pays attention to the children's needs and is always trying to improve their areas of weakness. She is very patient and always combines a strong work ethic with a fun approach. She provides her own materials and uses a large variety of different educational tools. Frédérique, is helping my 13 year old with French. My daughter likes her tutoring method, in the two sessions she has had with Frédérique, she feels she has been able to understand, and learned more then what what she did at school.
