Great session today! It was so nice to meet you all. My sincerest apologies for being a bit late, my boss had 3 emergency patients today so we didn't have a choice but to stay. Here is Amira's lesson summary: We went over the very basics of chemistry, including the atomic structure, matter, mass, volume, the periodic table and the history of elemental nomenclature (naming and classification). Amira knows her stuff! We will need to work on application of these basic concepts to more complex problems. Homework: Find one story in history about a chemist, element or experiment and tell me what you learned. It must include one of the things we learned today.
