My tutoring method can be summarized in 4 points: explain the fundamentals and make sure my students have a level of comfort with the topic; encourage the students to work independently first so we can identify their best learning method/mode; let my students try the problems first before I step in to help; give the students the opportunity to explain or "teach" the topic back to me. I am always looking for new students who are willing to put in the extra effort to get where they want to go....
