ADD/ADHD

I have worked with students with many disabilities, ADD/ADHD being one of them. As a special education teacher it is important to provide opportunities for students to learn in various ways such as kinesthetic learners, auditory, visual, etc. Adding breaks and various hands on strategies provides students with ADD/ADHD an opportunity to access general curriculum.

I worked for the Center for Autism as an ABA Therapist for two years. I worked with children of various ranges on the spectrum and at various ages. I provided one on one services in supports of education, social skills, and more. I used various behavior modification programs, tracked data, and provided reinforcement.
