Roman knew R which was helpful and understood statistics, and we were able to get through my assignments for the most part in 5.5 hours. But I wish Roman had a more well rounded understanding of regression. I had another tutor tell me that the assignments they felt would take 2-3 hours. So I was disappointed in how long we spent on the work. I feel a really strong tutor would have a solid grasp of the material enough to focus in and break it down in a way that was quick and easy to understand, I didn't feel like I got that to the extent I hoped. But, I was appreciative because I definitely wouldn't have been able to get through the difficult material on my own, because I think it might be more on the advanced side, given I am in grad school and my stats coursework was an MBA requirement. Thus there is always a learning curve, and I appreciate that he showed up and helped me get through it, which was the most important factor for me! I couldn't do what he does, and it's great to have someone to help and willing to try especially when the work is more advanced!
