Rebecca is a certified Special Education teacher, specializing in mild/moderate disabilities (such as ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, etc.). ADD/ADHD
Rebecca earned a Master's in Teaching from Clark University and a Master's in Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities from the University of Nebraska. Rebecca is now a certified Special Education teacher in the areas of Mild/Moderate Disabilities, and has been teaching students with disabilities for over seven years. The majority of Rebecca's students are diagnosed with ADHD, either as a singular area of challenge or with co-occurring challenges, such as Specific Learning Disabilities, Anxiety issues, etc. In addition to this real-world experience, Rebecca has done extensive research and study into interventions that are effective for students with attentional deficits, including writing strategies, time-management strategies, organizational techniques, and behavioral self-monitoring.
