I had recently taken bio/organic/inorganic/ chemistry II (CH 111). I had to take this class for the second BA nursing program I was accepted to for this coming January and had to take it over the summer while working. I had to take this class Monday-Thursday and worked during the day. Therefore, with very little time and 15 page take home tests I knew I would not be able to complete them in the little time I had. Therefore, I found Nilanjana. I was very nervous as to what to expect but soon found that this was the BEST thing I could have done for myself to get the A grade I needed. Even though I only had a little amount of time on my hands Nulanjana was VERY flexible. We met many Fridays and even on a Sunday. Every time I needed to meet with her and when I asked if this time/day would work for her she always said yes! She was beyond flexible!!! We exchanged numbers and she told me to call her any time I had a question too. She truly wanted me to do well and of course understand the material. As far as teaching went, she always knew exactly what to do and how to explain it. And if I wasn't getting it the first time she did a great job explaining it a different way and got examples which helped to put it all into perspective! She made sure I knew what I was doing by giving many examples/problems! I think she is so good at doing this because she has been a teacher in the past. Also, her being a teacher in the past helped me out because she knew what the teacher would have been expecting!! I am so glad I got in contact with Nilanjana and think that anyone who is taking any type of chemistry class and needed some help would benefit! :)

Nilanjana was extremely helpful and patient. She was able to simplify and clarify what seemed complex and abstract to me about my chemistry lab. As an older college student, I feel insecure with my limited math and science skills and she put my concerns at ease. With Nilanjana's assistance I think I will succeed in my chemistry course!

I currently go to Boston University and used Nilanjana when I was having a little trouble in that pesky organic chemistry class. Nilanjana was a great tutor and not only taught me how to solve the problems I had at hand, but taught me how to approach any type of problem and work through it in a clear way to ensure I have the correct answer. It can be stressful during tests when you are under a time limit to complete challenging problems, but Nilanjana's way of approaching problems on exams really helped me stay calm and finish my problems quickly and efficiently. She also is very good at breaking concepts down to a level where you understand them completely and she will ask you questions to ensure you understand what she is explaining. I really appreciated Nilanjana's help and her flexibility with hours. She was more than willing to meet with me if I had an exam coming up even if we had to work around my work schedule to find a time to meet. I will absolutely go back to Nilanjana for any future chemistry needs!!
