I am currently a middle school Math teacher in a public school. I have been teaching middle school math for the past 9 years and love my job. I also love to help students and tutor on the side. I want all students to feel confident in math. Even though I was a math major in college I like to only tutor math from elementary school up to Geometry in high school. Carolynne was a very effective tutor. My son was struggling with Pre-Algebra at an accelerated school. She was very patient, creative, and took extra time to explain when he didn't understand a concept. She always made sure he was ready for tests, and reviewed the results with him to make sure he understood everything before moving onto the next section. Within a three week time period his grades improved by one letter grade and his confidence level soared. He no longer felt like he was bad at math. I would highly recommend Carolynne as a math tutor to anyone who is struggling with math. She really understands middle school students.
