Language roadside assistance

Russian is my native language. Teaching is my passion. I am a very calm and patient person. Assisting your journey of discovering the Russian language is my delight. I use visual and audio aids to improve understanding. During class, there will be moments when we will laugh a lot and moments when we are very serious. I use teaching games to maintain the student's attention. English is my second language and I perfectly understand how difficult it is to learn a new one. Therefore, I teach th...

I absolutely love Anna's teaching style. Although I've never learned Russian before, she makes it seem very simple and fun. We have a great time playing little games and I find that I really can remember the language better. Anna is also very accommodating when it comes to location, timing, etc. She also assigns a kind of listening comprehension homework which I very much enjoy. I couldn't possibly think of a better tutor to have for Russian!

Anna explained grammar and how Russian is spoken so much better than my textbooks. By helping me to understand, I learned much more. She had lots of learning aides that made learning fun. Like another reviewer said, she is very patient, but she is also very warm and understanding, and seemed genuinely interested in my progress.

Anna tutors our adult daughter. Born in Russia and speaking only Russian until age 4, our daughter also lives with the challenges of an early brain injury. As we are not Russian speakers, she lost her Russian over time. Now she is eager to regain some of that ability, but we were reluctant to seek out a tutor, fearing that the attempt might result in frustration for the tutor and disappointment for our daughter. And then we met Anna, who has been amazing and a real gift for our daughter. Patient and fun and so creative in her approach to connecting with her pupil, Anna reaches her in a way we never expected. Now each week our daughter eagerly recounts what she and Anna have done during her lesson and what she has learned. The success she feels is priceless, and we are very grateful to Anna.
