Hello! I have been involved in Special Education since the early 1980's. When I started teaching, I was a teacher assistant in a public school resource room. I also assisted in a math classroom. In 1996, I received a Master's Degree in Special Education and left public school. I became a special educator for Health and Education Services in a school program for mentally ill teens.
