Sophie and I have had two lessons thus far. I find that she is helping me enormously with thorough explanations for the grammatical points or word usage problems I have. (I think it is a great advantage that she is a French teacher -- thus able to give me hints as to how to remember something. She knows the sticky problems students of French have.) Also -- each time I leave our session I want to study more -- following up and reinforcing what she has just taught me. We've met in two places now -- and i like the fact that she is flexible with time and we can meet at places convenient to us both. Without WyzAnt I would not have been able to find Sophie. Carolann

Therefore she organized the lessons in such a way to emphasize exactly what was needed the most. She followed up with my son after the exam to find out how he did. Overall, we had an excellent experience and I highly recommend her work as a teacher!

My son worked with Sophie to review and prepare for a 200 level college french composition class. She is conscientious and wanted to ensure that he met his learning goals for the time frame she tutored him. She prepares effective and pertinent lessons and teaches them with a multi-modality approach.
