ADD/ADHD
I was an only child who was very shy yet could imagine wonderful adventures while staring out a window. My Mom was brought up with the assumption that children should be seen and not heard. I was a very well behaved little boy. When I reached the seventh grade I could read a book in an entire day, nonstop, and retain all of it. In High School I found my voice as my grades slipped in Science and Math, needless to say they didn't interest me. I had a successful career as a Process Technician doing R&D, and eventually a Supervisor multi tasking and delegating several jobs at once. In 2010 I was Diagnosed with ADHD when my wife grew ill and I was overwhelmed, everything ADDS up now. I would like to help young people realize the advantages and challenges that ADHD can present in your life and how to address them.
