Ellen recently began tutoring my daughter Zoe, who was having trouble with her pre-calculus class as a high school senior. Ellen quickly got down to business, identifying Zoe's problem areas and knowledge gaps, and in a manner that Zoe describes as "really clear" began to address her difficulties. She has been able to communicate about math to Zoe like no one ever has, and the results have been "really clear": From having gotten D's on her first few quizzes and a test, Zoe has now gotten B's on two quizzes, and then received a 97 (A) on her most recent test.
