Jon has been working with our son for a few months helping him with trigonometry. He relates very well to him, they seem to be like partners working on the problems together. According to our son, Jon's explanations have really helped clarify the work. Over time our son is getting more confident and competent in trigonometry. His test scores are improving. My son has been working with Jonathan to improve his high school writing skills. Jonathan is very patient and professional. He makes appointments to meet with my son and then writes a summary of the goals and objectives of the meeting so we can see as parents what they worked on during the session. We receive the summary immediately after the session. Jonathan is flexible. We initially went to Jonathan for writing support but if my son needs help in math he will review with him what he needs. I can testify that my son got an eleven out of twelve on the writing ACT when he took it for the first time. Algebra 1, with a particular focus on polynomial factoring. On top of the expertise he brought to the task, Jonathan also went out of his way to fit our schedule and to meet with my son at our home. My son feels that Jonathan has a talent for explaining things simply and understandably, compared to the class setting at school.
