She is very dedicated in teaching students and is confident in her skills, which made me confident in my skills. Meredith is very willing to do whatever she needs to do to help her students feel comfortable and confident with the material. She is easily accessible - she always answers her phone or text messages as soon as her students contact her. Tutoring with Meredith is never dull and boring. I believe that she is much more gifted in teaching and cares more about student success than any teacher that I have ever met.

She did a fabulous job helping understand the structure of the test, and what material I could expect to see on it as well. I typically don’t write reviews but feel that I must share the experience that my son has had with Meredith. My son has always been behind in Reading. I have tried all kinds of programs, Hooked on Phonics, Kumon, ABC Mouse, Reading Eggs, and even other tutors. In November 2013, Dominic was diagnosed with Convergence Insufficiency, where his eyes do not “team” well for the purpose of reading. While he seemed to do better with therapy, he was still very much behind with his reading skills. Over the summer (between third and fourth grade), I sought the help of finding a tutor through WzyAnt. I found a really economically priced tutor, but my son did not progress as much as I hoped, and with every other effort (over the years) still was not excited about reading. At first, I was a little hesitant about Meredith’s fee (because to be honest, I am living pay check to pay check), but after reading reviews I was willing to give her a chance. Having Meredith as a tutor, my son has made more progress in 3 MONTHS, than he has in 2 YEARS! This is the very first time that I have EVER witnessed him get this excited about tutoring. One thing that he loves about working with Meredith is that she makes tutoring fun and easy to understand. She is one of the most patient people I have ever met. Her tutoring sessions are well worth every penny! My son's teacher (from last year) informed his current teacher about his need for additional assistance this school year. As a result of this information (in a recent conference), I was told that he is now performing beyond her expectations. In the beginning of this school year, he would often come to her for help, but for the month or so, he has been performing work on his own. I just started crying when I saw an 81 average in Reading on his first quarter report card (and that was his lowest grade). I thought that the improvement I witnessed with homework was partially due to my knowledge that he was in tutoring, but to hear compliments on his work from his teacher (who was not aware of his outside help until the conference), felt amazing. I am so proud of him! He could not have done that without the help of Meredith. I truly love Meredith for the dedication she shows to him. She is not just interested in his reading level, but also the progress he is making in life. For all that she has done, my family is truly blessed.
