I have only had a few lessons with Maria, but am hooked! The lessons are very specialized ranging from good fundamentals in grammar, phrases, culture, etc. to a focus on business terminology and conversation (where more formal phrases, etc. are used). It was difficult to find a language tutor from Spain with the accent I wanted and I was so lucky to find one in Baltimore! Maria is excellent and I can't say enough positive things about my lessons.

Maria travelled quite some distance to teach our after-school Spanish program. She was always on time, despite the inconvenient start time and traffic. This was the first time that our school offered such a course and we quickly figured out that the kids this age are pretty worn out by the end of the school day. But Maria hung in there and worked with them even though they were fidgety and distracted. Although it didn't seem like it at the time, the kids learned a lot of vocabulary. They were delighted to receive Spanish names, play bingo and duck-duck-goose with Spanish words. Thanks Maria.
