I had my first tutoring session with Debra on last week; and I felt my first session was very productive. I had sent some items for discussion prior to our session and Debra had put together a PowerPoint presentation to show examples of some of the homework items I was having problems with. Debra kept her explanation in pretty "simple" terms and broke down the problems so that I could understand what the homework problem was asking me to do in order to come up with my solution. After my session, I really felt a little less stressed about grasping the information. Debra assured me that being stressed has a tenacity to add more to the problem than there is. Essentially, I was making it much harder than it was. I appreciate the patience she displayed with walking me through the assigned problems, and helping me to break the problem down so that I could find the solution. I would highly recommend her and would seek her services for future tutoring sessions.
