Upon graduation from the University of Rochester, I held a teaching license from the State of New York for grades K - 6. As part of that degree, I student taught in a fourth and a sixth grade classroom. Part of my teaching experience was in a public elementary school, and I worked with that age group in the supplementary school of which I was principal for fourteen years.
