My theatre training and experience includes LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) one of the three and co-equal leading acting schools at the time in England, along with RADA (Royal Academy) and Central. I played a series of leading roles in Shakespeare, Jacobean and Restoration dramas at Cambridge, at The ADC Theatre (formerly Footlights) as well as at various dramatic societies of the colleges of Cambridge and was favorably reviewed by the Guardian and the Independent. I was also trained in the German Classical theatre by leading members of the famed per-war Berliner Schaubuene and the Schauspielhaus Zuerich to which those great lights of the German theatre later fled and finally returned after the war to successfully revive the German theatrical culture. I was trained in speech, accents, dance, stage fighting, voice and period styles to name a few. My academic studies at Cambridge added depth and critical scholarship to my appreciation of the great classics of dramatic literature. My Shakespeare studies were with Anne Barton (wife of John Barton who shared her approach and brought it to the RSC at that time) and Eric P. Griffiths of Trinity College.
