Patricia began tutoring my daughter in August 2013. She tutors her two times per week and brings a very dedicated, engaging, and enthusiastic attitude to each session. As such, she gets the most out of each lesson even on those days when my daughter doesn't have the best working attitude. I am very grateful to have Patricia work with my daughter. She has brought numerous helpful learning tools, books, flashcards, games and other teaching methods which engages my daughter where she not only learns but has fun learning. Pat tutored my daughters this summer about 5 times each. My kindergartener-going-to-1st-grade had needed some extra help in reading during her K year and we wanted to make sure she continued to progress over the summer. And we were looking for some math and reading exercises for my older daughter (going into 3rd grade). Pat connected with the girls right away and they really enjoyed their time with her. She had worksheets, books, and both homemade and store-bought games to keep them engaged. She lent us books and games between each session so we could review at home. My K daughter is now reading at the level she needs for Nov/Dec of her 1st grade year, which is great progress. And I can send both girls back to school knowing that they have continued to learn this summer! We would highly recommend Pat.
