ADD/ADHD

As a former Speech-Language Pathologist, 60% of my student caseload consisted of students with ADD/ADHD. I worked with these students, their parents and teachers tirelessly to create and design helpful learning strategies. I also created Individualized education plans for these students so that their teachers could implement the proper accommodations and modifications for their classroom instruction.

Aspergers

I have worked with 13 students who have been identified as having Asperger's within my 5 years as a Speech Pathologist. Through my experience working with these students I have come to appreciate their cognitive development differences and repetitive nature. While attaining the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Autism Structured TEACCHING Certificate I was exposed to more depth on Aspergers.

Jeannette is doing a great job with our daughter, Caleigh. She, Cal, looks forward to seeing her and Jeannette is building a rapport with her that provides Caleigh with confidence in addition to her support with her studies. Caleigh likes knowing she has her to ask questions and be somewhat more independent from her parents in studying. Thank you!
