*Begin Disclaimer* Due to the constraints on my schedule with regards to medical school, I predominantly live in the Toledo, Ohio area now. I do all my sessions online through skype(or facetime) and idroo (online whiteboard). My students so far have loved it, and it's allowed me to keep my tutoring relationships with my previous students in the Detroit area strong. If you have any questions about how the setup works, do not hesitate to ask! *End Disclaimer* I graduated from the University of...
physiology
Having taken so many courses in biology from Biochemistry, to Molecular Biology, to Genetics and studying for the MCAT (Almost all the Biology is Human Physiology), Physiology is the combination of all these subjects to give the function of the body. There's Physics, Chemistry, and Biology involved in describing the function of how the body works, and it is truly elegant how the body works to correct any deficiencies in its internal environment to maintain homeostasis.

physical science
A typical Physical Science course will encompass basic Chemistry and Physics and give its applications to solving real-world problems.
organic chemistry
genetics
I took Genetics at U of M - Ann Arbor and received an A-. Genetics is composed of two major branches. The first part is the Molecular Biology component, and the second part is Quantitative Biology. The Molecular Biology component is rooted in Biochemistry, and that was my major. So I can teach the intuitive Chemistry of how DNA replication, DNA transcription, and DNA translation work. The Quantitative Biology component is rooted in Probability and Statistics, and I minored in math. So I can teach the intuitive math of how genes have different probabilities of occuring in a specific society, and the probability of a child developing a certain disease from the genotype of his/her parents.
ACT Science
The ACT science section pretty much is a read the graphs/charts, and interpret data and make a conclusion from these graphs/charts. It doesn't actually test ones science knowledge. The best way to prepare for this section is to just practice. In addition, it could be beneficial to read some basic science journals and see what information one can extract from it.

statistics
I took AP Stats in high school and received a 5, and went on to subsequently take intro statistics at Michigan and received an A+. With my background in math, I believe I can help students master this subject field. It is crucial that a student has a good background in algebra to be successful in this course.

biology
My major in undergrad was Biochemistry. I also took related Biology courses in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Physiology. Because of this, I have a much deeper understanding of the topics that are covered in General Biology at the University level and AP Biology at the high school level. I think this will help me get a student to understand this material at a deeper level as well.

Seena helped me get an A in Gen. Chem. and was able to make many difficult concepts clear for me. Very flexible with scheduling, and was available right before exams!! He also gave great advice as to what to study for exams, and you can tell he is experienced at this. Would definitely recommend to anyone struggling with chemistry, or anyone who wants to secure a good grade!

My son was on the brink of failing Algebra 2, and Seena literally rescued him. He was so kind and so patient and, most important, he made learning fun. My biggest fear was how to convince my son to sit for tutoring several days in a row. It wasn't even a struggle. My son truly connected with Seena and actually enjoyed his sessions. Seena was also incredible at follow-up. He would assign my son homework and send emails reminding us to get the work the done and encouraging my son to practice, practice, practice. Seena was also very polite and professional and always on time. He also extended himself by changing his schedule at the last minute to squeeze in an hour and half of tutoring on a Sunday to help my son study for a very important test. I wish I had found Seena earlier in the semester and I just can't speak highly enough of his skill and dedication to his students. Thank you, Seena!

I am not good with math and Seena made it seem easy even for me. He helped guide me through statistics with patience and kindness. He is a great tutor!
Nancy J. from Mount Pleasant, MI
My son had a college level calculus tutoring session with Seena. My son's first comment was "Wow he is so smart". He also commented "I wish that I had him as a teacher, I would definitely get an A". Seena explained things clearly and was great to work with, as well as very accommodating.

Seena has been an excellent tutor for our son. He makes himself very readily available and communicates with us about his needs and abilities, expressing real concern. Results? From borderline failure to 34 of 35 questions correct on the last exam. I'll pay for that level of support.
Josephine G. from Highland, MI
Personable, professional highly qualified tutor. He is responsive, courteous and dedicated to helping kids improve. We threw a bit of a curve ball at him right before finals and he totally rose to the occasion. Even with a short time frame in which to help my son, a high school junior, we saw better test results using Seena than without him. We will continue to use him on an regular basis. Plus my son thinks he's cool.

I needed a tutor to help my son with a chem class and Seena turned out to be a great help. He was able to clarify and explain topics that had been covered very quickly in class so my son could get a better grasp on the basic concepts. He was so successful at the chem help that my son asked him to help with his math homework as well. He turned out to be just as proficient in math as he was in chem. He recently completed his undergrad, so it was helpful to have someone relatively close in age to a high school student that could relate to the difficulty of balancing school work with other extracurriculars. My son felt much more confident conquering both classes after having a few tutoring sessions with Seena. I highly recommend him to any parents of high school students! Paying for Seena's tutoring is a well-worth INVESTMENT in your student's future, and will bring returns of much greater value! Like the MasterCard commercial: "Priceless".

When I first contacted Seena I was in dire need of help. I really could not understand organic chemistry, and I thought I never would. When I first met with Seena he was kind and patient. He really made sure I understood the concepts. He broke down the organic chemistry concepts in a way that no professor or tutor ever did. He also made sure that I made the most of each session. Sometimes I wanted to cut corners on the number of problems I did, but he would not let me. At the time it was very irritating, but now I realize it was absolutely the right decision. Before I met Seena, I hated organic chemistry with a passion. Now I love organic chemistry so much that I'm thinking of getting a masters degree in it. This guy is definitely the best tutor, but is also a cool guy who cares about each student. Also, as a recent graduate he understood how hard it was to balance student responsibilities. I only wish I found him a long time ago so he could tutor me for my other science classes. The bottom line is this guy is a great tutor for everything he offers and does not rip people off when it comes to money.

Seena teach me how to get ready for my final exam in general chemistry and he was very very helpful.
