College General Chem and Biology
I've been tutoring as a part time job for 8 semesters now at a local community college. College courses include introductory chemistry, general chemistry, biology, anatomy, and microbiology. I'm very familiar with Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Valley, and Kellogg courses and am able to compare these to other colleges given a syllabus. ADD/ADHD
I worked one on one with a 2nd grader with ADHD on his reading for an entire summer. I student taught 3rd grade for 8 months and had one severe case of a student with ADD and 2 students with moderate to mild ADHD. I earned my bachelor's in elementary education from Michigan State University in May 2013 and took 12 graduate credits towards a master's in curriculum planning at Michigan State as well.
Common Core
In my second of five years of education classes, the switch to Common Core was made. Every single lesson plan, unit plan, and goal I created had to be supported by a common core state standard.
