I have tutored many ADD and ADHD students in previous jobs. I was a guidance counselor/instructor at a private high school, and one of my responsibilities was to assure that our students with learning difficulties were keeping up with their IEPs. I use many techniques, based on student's individual learning preferences, helping them create their own unique strategies for learning. I also explain brain chemistry, dietary impact, and the use of self awareness or mindfulness.
