Botany: Houseplants I took a university level Botany class, and have built and maintained a greenhouse. My own array of 60 plants includes cacti, succulents and other species. I am very knowledgeable in the care, maintenance and aesthetics of houseplants. This includes insect pest and disease identification, treatment, proper container sizes, potting media, watering, fertilizing and plant location for optimum growth and beautification.
