After getting an undergrad degree in Biology from Notre Dame, a master's degree and PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan, and several semesters of teaching genetics and cell biology (lab) at Eastern Michigan University as an adjunct lecturer, I decided to step back from teaching to be a stay at home mom with our three children.
